Our project of the month features our Certified Foreman, David.Certified Foreman David during a Painting Project

Remdal has been pleased to work with the District of Maple Ridge for over eight years, and in recent times that work has been led by David and his crew.

Earlier this year, in April, to be exact, I stopped by to finally have a look at what we have been painting there. I was amazed to see how many buildings, rooms, gyms, and offices had been touched by David's brush just this year.

First on the list: City Hall and the library - we marched in the place together with a large group of children: a school bus just brought a class for their library tour. Wow, that's a lot of kids! Good thing that the actual painting happens after hours, when no one is around. Yes, when the rest of us go home, David goes to work.

Then we went to the pool - it was hard to take pictures with all the people around. Needless to say, the pool had to be shut down when it was painted at the time. We stopped by the gym - that's a bright yellow wall! Or is it green?

RCMP offices were next on the list, however we were not allowed to take any pictures there. Instead, David asked me to take a picture of this clock: he painted it as well!

We then went off to the Leisure Center where last summer David and the crew painted these blue waves; then off to Golden Ears Winter Club.

To close this post, I'd like to share the words of our MR Facilities customers:

"We are so pleased with the work David is doing here.. He's quick. He is polite. No request is inconvenient or troublesome. He accommodates every request given to him with a smile. He is prompt. Well done to your employee!"

Kudos to David!
